This is a collection of Java libraries for doing Internetty and multimediary thingies.

• uk.ac.lancs.scc.cgi is for writing CGI programs.

• uk.ac.lancs.scc.io is for miscellaneous I/O tools.

• uk.ac.lancs.scc.mime handles MIME types and messages.

• uk.ac.lancs.scc.rfc822 is for asynchronously manipulating RFC822 messages.

• uk.ac.lancs.scc.spider supports the writing of Web spiders and robots.

I'm sorry for not documenting this software well. Often, classes here have been written to suit a particular need in some other piece of software, without having a clear reason to belong to that software. Some of these classes are most certainly going to be moved to legacy jars, or renamed, especially those in the old uk.ac.lancs.comp hierarchy.
